Neutron and thermal protection ROBATEL Industries Compound

ROBATEL Industries develops and offers a wide range of patented neutron and thermal protection products that can be used for many applications. Our products have been approved and tested on French nuclear sites and worldwide since the 1970s. These materials are cold-mouldable in all shapes and sizes and can be machined (except Compound n°9™ and 10™).

Gamma Lead (Pb) Protection

We have two manufacturing sites equipped with lead foundries with a production capacity of several thousand tonnes per year; our products range from parts weighing a few kilograms to masses in excess of 20 tonnes. With over 60 years experience of working with lead for the nuclear industry we have developed techniques and processes that ensure the quality and consistency of our castings. Lead is one of the most effective materials for protection against gamma radiation, ensuring the safety of our equipment and operating personnel.

Fire protection and shock absorber FENOSOL

ROBATEL Industries has acquired and developed a rigid phenolic foam used as a shock absorber, mechanical reinforcement, insulation and fire protection. FENOSOL™ from ROBATEL Industries meets all the latest requirements and standards for nuclear safety and for the protection of people and equipment.

Very low water vapour permeability and moisture resistance

FENOSOL™ is available in a wide range of standard densities from 75kg/m3 to 575kg/m3.

On request, we will study and propose FENOSOL™ solutions with non-standard densities.
